Qualification Phase

During the qualifications phase, you will come to the laboratory 1-3 times for screening, over a 1-3 week period as according to your schedule.  During the screening procedure, you will complete the following:

  1. One physical exam
  2. One interview with a dietician and a clinical psychologist
  3. One blood test for general health (4 tablespoons, 80 ml)
  4. Completion of daily logs to monitor exercise training and the menstrual cycle
  5. One body weight and height measurement
  6. One 3 day food log
  7. One bone density and body composition test with a
    urinary pregnancy test at the same time
  8. Eight questionnaires
