Baseline Phase

During the 4 week baseline period you will complete the following:

  1. One 3 day food log
  2. One 7 day period of monitoring physical activity and one exercise
    test to measure your fitness level
  3. One resting metabolism test
  4. Completion of daily logs to monitor exercise training and the menstrual cycle
  5. Once a week body weight measurement
  6. Daily urine collections
  7. One metabolic blood sample (4 tablespoons, 80mls)
  8. One bone marker blood sample (2 tablespoons, 40 mls)
  9. One 3 day in a row 2nd morning urine samples
